Our history

From compensation to the modern e-PGW digital platform

Polska Grupa Wierzytelności (PGW) has been operating since 2013. We started in a small office in Legnica, helping people injured in accidents pursue the compensation for financial loss and non-material harm due to them. From the outset, we prioritised an individual approach, effectiveness and comprehensive client support.

In the following years, responding to growing market needs, we gradually expanded our services. We developed support in legal matters, debtor defence, consumer bankruptcy proceedings, the free credit sanction and foreign-currency loan cases (Swiss francs, euros, dollars and other currencies), as well as debt restructuring for individuals and businesses.

At the same time, we steadily strengthened debt recovery services throughout Poland, expanding support for creditors, businesses and individual clients. With growing experience, PGW evolved from a compensation company into a provider of a broad range of services relating to receivables, debt and financial and legal matters.

Today we work in Wrocław's business district on ul. Gwiaździsta and serve clients across Poland. We have partners in all regional capitals, many county towns and smaller communities.

2026 marks another important stage in our history: digitising services and developing the e-PGW platform. We are introducing modern solutions that enable clients to submit cases online, provide documents electronically, communicate more easily and access information about ongoing proceedings. We are also developing automation and artificial intelligence tools to support everyday case handling.

Today we combine over 13 years of experience with modern technology to provide clients across Poland with convenient, transparent and professional service.

Polska Grupa Wierzytelności: experience, trust and technology serving our clients.

Scope of operations

What we do

Case tracking in e‑PGW is available for debt recovery and consumer bankruptcy. How you submit your case and provide documents depends on the case type. We handle other services outside the app, with contact by phone and email.

Debt recovery

Business and personal debts: invoices, loans, rent and sales. We analyse documents, pursue amicable recovery and coordinate further steps; an independent advocate or legal adviser handles court representation.

Personal injury compensation

Injuries following road accidents, medical errors and workplace accidents. We compile documentation and communicate with the insurer; an independent representative acts for you in court.

Property damage compensation

Damage to vehicles, real estate and business property, and underpaid claims. We review the estimate and documentation, submit the claim and negotiate with the insurer. We check the insurer's estimate free of charge.

Free credit sanction under Polish law

Free initial review of your credit or loan agreement. Each agreement requires an individual assessment by a lawyer; we agree further services and their costs before working together. The outcome cannot be guaranteed. Send your agreement online.

Consumer bankruptcy

Assessment of the debtor's situation and compilation of documents. An independent legal adviser or restructuring adviser handles the application and representation in the proceedings. Track your case in the portal; we check eligibility free of charge.

Business bankruptcy

Assessment of the company's situation, compilation of documentation and organisational services. An independent law firm or licensed restructuring adviser handles the application, representation and proceedings. The initial assessment is free.

Restructuring

Assessment of the company's situation, collection of information for the plan and document coordination. A licensed restructuring adviser conducts the proceedings; an independent law firm performs reserved legal activities. The assessment is free.

PozwijGo financing

An option to finance proceedings costs in return for a higher commission, deducted from the amount recovered in the case. We record the scope of financing, terms and selected option in the agreement before starting. Available following a positive eligibility assessment.

Our principles

How we work

Clear communication and case status

Case tracking in e‑PGW is available for debt recovery and consumer bankruptcy. How you submit your case and provide documents depends on the case type. We handle other services outside the app, with contact by phone and email. A person makes decisions about your case, and an independent legal adviser or advocate performs activities reserved to lawyers.

Data security

The database, file storage and authentication are currently provided by Supabase Inc. (Frankfurt region, Germany); Microsoft Azure is intended to take over this role. The application layer and AI services run on Microsoft Azure. The Privacy Policy describes processing and transfer rules. We encrypt data at rest and in transit. Access to each case is controlled; events are monitored and logged. The controller handles personal data protection matters: write to iod@e-pgw.pl.

Clear terms for working together

The initial assessment is free. Further fees depend on the service and arrangement: a success fee, a fee per stage or an individual quote. We explain the rate and the costs you bear before you sign the agreement.*
