What you pay
You pay a percentage of the money we actually recover. You will know the exact percentage before signing the agreement.
The further a case progresses and the more risk we take on, the higher the percentage. You always know why.
For recent, undisputed receivables with documentation.
When the case requires the electronic court or resolution of a dispute.
We advance the costs; you pay after recovery.
We also cover the opponent's awarded costs.
We advance the court fee, expert fees and enforcement officer's costs. You pay only from the amount recovered. If the case is lost, you do not repay our costs; you only bear any costs awarded to the opposing party by the court. Available subject to case eligibility assessment.
Everything in PozwijGo, plus coverage of the opposing party's awarded costs. If you lose, you pay 0 zł. Available only through a fiduciary assignment: we take over the case as creditor and pursue it at our own cost, including difficult and older cases, following stricter eligibility checks. The highest commission reflects the broadest scope of service.
If you act as a private individual, the commission depends on the route used to handle your case. When acting on your instruction, commission will not exceed 35% of the amount recovered. Under an assignment (including PozwijGo Plus, where we take over the case as creditor and bear litigation costs), it will not exceed 40%. In both cases, you pay only from what we recover: no recovery means 0 zł, and under an assignment the receivable returns to you.
The basis depends on the route: when acting on instruction or under an assignment from an individual, our commission does not exceed half the amount actually recovered. For an assignment from a business, remuneration is calculated on the value of the receivable and does not exceed half of that value. This is a different basis, so do not compare these figures directly. We calculate commission on the principal plus interest. Awarded legal representation costs are excluded from this basis and are payable to us. They reimburse the case handling costs we incur.
A court case involves two different bills. They are easy to confuse, so we explain everything clearly, including what happens if you lose.
A fee paid to the state, payable at the outset to start court proceedings. If you win, the losing party reimburses it. This is not our commission.
You pay it only from money we actually recover, never upfront. If we recover nothing, the commission is PLN 0.
A court fee, known as the filing fee, must be paid before the court can consider a case. This is a state fee, not our commission. Someone must advance it at the start: you or us (under the PozwijGo option). The amicable stage (demands, negotiations) requires no filing fee.
Polish court proceedings follow the principle of liability for the outcome (Article 98 of the Polish Code of Civil Procedure): the losing party reimburses the winner's litigation costs. These include the filing fee, expenses (e.g. experts) and the representative's fees under the official schedule.
Once the debt is recovered, we deduct only our commission at the percentage agreed in the contract. Reimbursed litigation costs first cover expenses advanced (filing fee, experts); the rest is returned as agreed in the contract. If we recover nothing, our commission is 0 zł.
KZP is the remuneration of a representative (legal adviser or advocate) for handling a case in court. The amount is not arbitrary: it comes from the official schedule (a regulation of the Minister of Justice) and depends on the amount in dispute, so it is known in advance. It works both ways:
Illustrative example: for a dispute over 20 000 zł, the minimum KZP rate under the schedule is 3 600 zł. The actual amount depends on the amount in dispute and the course of proceedings; the court may adjust it where justified.
The more risk we take on, the higher the commission. You always know what you are paying for, and the exact figures are in the agreement.
If you lose, you bear the litigation costs and the opponent's KZP. In return, you get the lowest commission, and if you win, the losing party reimburses your filing fee.
If you lose, you do not reimburse our expenses (we bear the filing fee and expert costs). One risk remains with you: the opposing party's KZP, if awarded by the court.
We assume the entire risk, including the opposing party's KZP. Losing costs you literally 0 zł. The highest commission reflects the broadest scope of service, but never exceeds half.
The half rule: you always keep at least as much of the money recovered as we do.
We recover expenses advanced at the amount we actually paid. We do not earn from costs; our earnings come solely from success-based commission.
You pay success-based commission, solely on the amount actually recovered. The ranges are shown below; we agree the exact rate for your case in the contract.
We handle your case in e‑PGW. The way you submit it and provide documents depends on the case type.
Amicable 6–15%, court 10–30%, with court cost financing through PozwijGo 25–50%. Below 500 zł, we offer a fixed price (below).
From 3 900 zł. The price depends on case complexity (assets, number of creditors), not the debt amount. After the first stage, repay the rest in instalments of 500 zł, with no increase in the total fee. Up to 25% discount for people over 55. Court fee (30 zł) and bankruptcy trustee's remuneration excluded.
A legal adviser or consultant handles the case; contact is by phone and email.
Transferable claims (e.g. property damage, property liability insurance).
We state the monetary cap explicitly in the agreement. Choose any legal adviser or advocate for court representation.
The scope depends on the business's size, number of creditors and state of its records, so we agree our organisational support fee individually and record it in the agreement before starting. You settle the independent law firm's or restructuring adviser's fee directly with them.
We agree our fee individually after assessing the business's situation and the selected proceedings, and record it in the agreement before starting. A licensed restructuring adviser acts as supervisor or administrator, and you settle their fee directly with them.
We charge commission only on the amount actually recovered, with no hidden deductions. The exact rate, calculation basis, monetary cap and cancellation terms are always explicit in the agreement. If we recover nothing, we charge no commission. Where your rate falls within the range depends on the case's difficulty: the age of the receivable and the evidence you provide. A recent, undisputed receivable with full documentation falls at the lower end of the range; an older case or one with incomplete documentation requires more work and risk, so the rate is higher. We provide the rate for your case before you sign. The basis depends on the route: when acting on instruction or under an assignment from an individual, our commission does not exceed half the amount actually recovered. For an assignment from a business, remuneration is calculated on the value of the receivable and does not exceed half of that value. This is a different basis, so do not compare these figures directly.
A success fee makes sense when there is money to recover and the amount can support it. Below that threshold, or if we do not accept a case for handling, you can buy an individual service at a price agreed in advance. You pay once and know exactly what you receive.
We check documents, establish the debtor's current details and send a demand for payment. One price known in advance, regardless of the debt amount.
Anyone, including cases below 500 zł.
We read the documents and respond in writing: how we assess recovery prospects and which route makes sense. You receive a specific recommendation, not generalities.
Anyone who wants to know before deciding.
We review the portfolio, divide cases into recoverable now, recoverable later and no recovery prospects, and provide an action plan for each group.
Businesses with multiple receivables.
This is an assessment of recoverability and a recommended route, not legal advice: e‑PGW is not a law firm. Activities reserved to legal professionals are performed by a Polish legal adviser (radca prawny) or advocate (adwokat) of your choice.
The tiers are not arbitrary: we agree your specific percentage within a tier individually and record it in the agreement. Several factors influence it:
The higher the amount, the lower the commission percentage. Larger cases tend towards the lower end of the range.
A recent debt with complete documentation costs less to handle than a claim approaching the limitation deadline.
We offer more favourable terms for a portfolio of several claims submitted together (typical for businesses) than for a single case.
Cases resolved amicably cost less than those requiring court proceedings and enforcement by a court enforcement officer.
Invoices, agreements, balance confirmations and correspondence reduce the work involved and lower the rate.
Debt recovery from 6% in four tiers, up to PozwijGo Plus. Property damage claims 15–40%, personal injury compensation up to 35%.
A single success fee covers all case handling. There is no separate charge for every action.
Illustrative example: the 10% rate is used solely for illustration (debt recovery from 6%, depending on the tier). If we recovered nothing, commission would be 0 zł. We agree the exact percentage for your case in the contract.
PozwijGo: we advance money for court (claim filing fee, experts, bailiff); you pay nothing upfront. We settle only from the amount recovered, and if you lose, you do not reimburse our costs.
PozwijGo Plus: in addition to proceedings costs, we cover the opposing party's awarded costs. Losing = you pay 0 zł. Available only with a fiduciary assignment. The highest commission for the broadest scope.
We charge commission only on the amount actually recovered, with no hidden deductions. The exact rate, calculation basis, monetary cap and cancellation terms are always explicit in the agreement.
